it and guess how many sail boats are in the
harbor. After that you get to choose 4
sailboats to see if you find which one the
Blueberry Cheeky Dog is on. You can
win Kinz Cash prizes or an exclusive
clothing item if you find the Blueberry

 Update:
You should now see a spider basket in your
room and in the clubhouse. This is
where you can view your progress.

You can find Spooky every 3 hours.
Members are reporting that Spooky can be
found in every room of the clubhouse on a 15
minute rotation. This is much easier
to track than last year so hopefully this
trend continues.
Trick
or Treat! Starting on Friday, October
22 until Halloween, visit the Clubhouse to
look for Spooky, the Mazin' Hamster (he's
carrying a lighted pumpkin and he has a
mysterious green glow). Click on him and
he'll give you one of twelve candies.
If you collect all twelve you'll get
a Halloween Jack O'Lantern.
Whatever you do, be sure to find Spooky! |
Eight candies are back from last year's
Trick or Treat event. Four are new this year
(Chocolate Tombstone, Fizzy Fuzzies, Pastel
W Poppers, Slimsicle). Pictures in the
fridge below show candies from last year;
Bat Bar, PB & J Chocowich, Tooth Glue Toffee
& Vampire Pop will not be available this
year. |

letting us know that there have been some
cool changes in the Academy. There is
a new recess counter, so there is no more
guessing how close you are to taking recess.
A BIG change is that all classes are now
free. So take your pets to the academy
and get them all ready to compete at the
Stadium. Thanks Ganz for this great
change! The option to pay to tutor
your pet has now been removed from the
Academy as well. |

Ganz and was told they could change the pet
name to reflect the gender but they couldn't
adjust the gender. She has e-mailed
the screen captures and the CS is supposed
to pass them on to the technical department.

Item event to support the Caring Valley.
Click on a floating item and have a chance
to win a Haunted Hickory Tree or a Recipe

This weekends even will be featuring the ‘Caring Round
The World’ area of the Caring Valley which
currently helps the “Touching Tiny Lives
Foundation”. This organization helps

purchase food and medication to help these
children to help them be healthy and strong. |

from 12:01 am September 25, 2010 to
11:59 pm October 1, 2010 EST. Meet the
new line of Zums coming to the eStore:
Zike, Zilma, Zorbo, and Zofina.
The first is Zike, who is curious, Zike
is the prize of the Webkinz Newz Zum

Thanks to member

we have been alerted to the new party
packs available on Webkinz. In addition
to the Big Top, Cheerleader, Enchanted,
Space and Blockbuster (which disappeared
after maintenance and is now back),
there are now Birthday Boy, Birthday
Girl, Garden, Pizza and Tea Party Packs
which allow you to host parties in your
own pet's home! You can even schedule
a party for "Right Now" and have five
minutes before the first game
begins. The party host has to be home
for the guests to access the event. The
new ones also cost less: 750 KC instead
of 1000 KC for the older packs.

Room Design Contest. The
contest opens at 12 am EST 09/11/10.
You may use any type of room
indoor/outdoor/underwater/treetop and for
this contest you CAN use retired, exclusive,
PSI, eStore etc. However, they do mention
that they liked creative uses of the W Shop
items. Webkinz asks that you please wait
until the contest opens, and make sure you

zingyginger tweeted Webkinz about the
slowness issues and this was the reply "Maintenance
is done, but there might be a ton of people trying
to get on right now. That tends to slow things down
a bit."
Many members are reporting problems
with Please Wait, especially in American Accounts.
Hopefully this issue will be resolved quickly. |

about an odd glitch in the Wish Factory.
Every token placed in states it is a Super
Token and that you have won 200 KC, however,
this is not true. Upon putting 4
tokens in my Kinz Cash did not increase at
all so it's just a cosmetic glitch. It
would be advisable to hold off putting any
tokens in at this point as it could get in
the way of your chances of actually winning
a true Super Token. Ganz is working to
resolve this issue now according to a tweet. |

Lots of new items today in Webkinz World.
Webkinz World went down for maintenance today at 5:10
am KT and came back up at 8:30 am. Before it went
down for maintenance we were able to get a peek at a few
new items coming. There is a new Quizzy's
Discovery Zone coming. There will be a sticker book with
new categories and they will be able to be translated in
different languages for International Members.

Quizzy's Signature Safari is once again showing the
African Black Rhino that we told you about a few weeks
ago. We are guessing that this will be the October
Endangered Signature Pet. Thanks to

screenshots and any additional maintenance news once WW
comes back up.
There's another new pet coming to the eStore, the
Moon Fox. It's PSI will be a Blue Moon Lagoon and
the PSF will be Moon Mudslide.
While Plumpy is out on vacation Molly is filling in and
she answers a question about filling up the jars in
Jumbleberry Fields. She mentions that her friend
Sparky is waiting to fill up all 4 jars before he claims
any of his prizes, could this possibly be a new badge or
special prize if you wait until you fill them all before
putting those last berries in? We'll have to wait
and see.

available on iPhone. We first heard about this
from Webkinz on July 3, 2010 so it's been a long wait
for those iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users just jumping
for the chance to play Goober's Lab and earn some extra
KC while away from the computer. Once you log into
your WW account the KC you win is transferred to your
account as shown in the screenshot above. The app
is selling for $.99 and can be found at the iTunes
store.

New Deluxe Family Option |

When the Deluxe Family membership was removed in April
of 2010 many Webkinz World members were very upset.
Many tweets went out to Ganz and they assured us that
they would work on a new plan. After the long wait
it's finally back, just a little different than before.
Now, when you purchase the Annual Deluxe Membership,
you can add on up to 4 accounts for $5 each. This
change means it will essentially cost $20 more per year
than the previous Family Membership, but, you will
receive the Super Deluxe Item on the main account
purchasing the Deluxe Membership.

a new Maze Set out today, with an awesome trophy to be
won. The new Shrewd Searchers maze has moolah to

Kinz Phones Down - Back Up Again |

Update: Thanks to WP
Member Cloud One
for pointing out that the Light
Blue Zone is currently missing from the phones.
Hopefully this is an oversight and it will be returning.
The Clubhouse and Kinzville Park are
now open again as well.
The Kinz Phones are now working again as of 11:18 pm KT.
The areas that utilize the phones are still not working.
WP Member zingyginger spoke to Customer Service and
apparently today's maintenance "broke" the Kinz Phones
and they are working to resolve this issue. Thanks
to WP Member Cloud One
for lettings us know that the Clubhouse is closed for
maintenance currently. All areas that utilize the
Kinz Phones are also not working. We are not sure
what the maintenance is for but will let you know if we
learn any new information.

WP Member Harvests Ice Cream Sandwich |

WP Member Kinz Krazed
was able to harvest her Ice Cream Sandwich Plant today.
It's a very pretty looking plant in the garden and a
yummy treat for sure. Thanks KK for sharing these
pictures with us.
