UPDATE:  The Road Trip has been extended another month due to it's success.  Click here to read about it at Webkinz Newz.  The Road Trip Map has changed, the previous map had stated colored purple and missing the state name where we "assumed' events were not scheduled.  The new map (pictured right) showed all states colored with a few in purple still, but all states list the state abbreviations.  Does this mean the Road Trip has a lot of new dates being added?  We'll have to wait and see.  We will keep you up to date as we find out more information.

Looking for a new challenge?  Mazin' Hamsters has an all new Maze set.  This is the hardest one yet, with 9 new mazes to conquer.  You'll need to drop down blind chutes to find the all new red flag on the way.  If you complete all 9 mazes you'll be rewarded with the new Leap of Faith Flags Trophy.  *Tip* There are drop downs in the middle of the tunnels that you may want to get over, be sure to hold down the shift button to speed over them.

You Tube Video Contest:
Ganz wants to see what you've been doing with your Mazin' Hamster.  Create a video showing a Maze you created or something General about Mazin' Hamsters.  Starting on July 24th and ending on July 30th, Ganz will be accepting video responses to their Mazin' Hamster Contest Video on You Tube.  An exclusive eStore Mazin' Hamster will be given to the entrants who have the best Maze and the best General Video.  Read full rules here.

WP Member jamjar reported today finding an odd item in the dock today.  The shirt pictured in the W Shop and on the pet is in place of the Kinz Style Rainbow Stripe Tank Top.  This shirt is unknown and might be new Kinz Style that was named incorrectly, replacing the Rainbow Stripe Tank Top.  Thanks to dustpixi for letting us know that this top is the Rainbow Strip Set Top and Ganz is working to address the issue with the newly released KinzStyle clothing.

Congrulations to WP Member Mama Girl NH for winning the new Stardrops game Trophy.  It is not Kinz Postable, she won this on level 12.  Congratulations to WP Member ENCHANTEDISLE for winning the Starburst Fever Badge.

Prior to WW going down WP Member zingyginger noticed that the African Black Rhino has been added to Quizzy's Signature Safari 2010.  It appears we can expect this to be the September Endangered Signature Pet.  Also, the front page of the Kinzville Times lets us know that a new game for Deluxe Members only is coming to WW.  Prior to maintenance this game was not yet showing in Webkinz World.

Thanks to WP member vickiexoxox for the screenshot from the new game.  It appears to be somewhat like Bejeweled or Goobers Lab in that you must have 3 in a row, but you can catch larger groups in your "Star Net" as well.  This game has a trophy that can be won as well.

The remainder of the new theme has been added to the W Shop!  Thanks so much to WP Member Ergoiam for these screenshots.  WW went down again so we are waiting to get back in.

After this mornings eStore Maintenance the eStore is now available in the Things to Do Menu in Webkinz World. Thanks to WP Member unsoclbuttrfly for letting us know about this change.  You will still purchase eStore Pet and Amazing Hamsters at the eStore. In fact you can still purchase all items from the eStore.  This new part of Webkinz World is just if you want to make it "easier" if you want to purchase directly from your account.

Webkinz will be selling a Music Starz CD featuring the Pet of the Month songs.  You can purchase it separately or in combo packs with past Pet of the Months.  Each CD comes with a feature code that unlocks a Music Starz Jukebox.
